I’ve never joined a gym before. It always seemed to expensive, too full of treadmills, too hardcore, too suburban. But at the end of October I sucked it up, went on a tour of Lifetime Fitness, and signed up.
I love it.
I love the group classes (yoga! pilates! kickboxing! aerobics!). I love the 2-hrs per day baby care. I love the hot tub, and the spa gift certificates, and the hot showers, and the free towels. I love zumba. It feels like such a luxury
to join a gym, and I feel so great after exercising – more awake, more sore, stronger, calmer. I’ve been going 3-4 times a week.
Why have I not done this before?
